Good To Know
What counts as one area?
A scuff or scratch about the size of your palm. If you have two separate marks on opposite corners of the car, that is two areas.
Will the colour match?
Paint is mixed to your car’s paint code and blended into the surrounding panel, so the repair is not a patch you can pick out from a few feet away.
When is a SMART repair not the right answer?
If the damage crosses a whole panel, has gone through to bare metal over a wide area, or the panel is creased, a full bodyshop repair is the honest answer. We will tell you if that is the case rather than take the job.
