Diagnosis

Hazy, Yellowed and Dimmer Than They Should Be

UV exposure and years on the road leave headlights hazy, yellowed and dimmer than they should be, hurting both your visibility at night and how the whole front of the car looks.

Treatment

What We Do

Headlight mid-restoration: one half clear, the other half hazy

A full restoration process that removes oxidation and haze, then seals the lens with a UV-protective coating to keep it clear for longer. Done mobile, on your driveway, usually while you get on with your day.

Questions

Good To Know

Is it both headlights for that price?

Yes. One price covers the pair, because they always yellow at the same rate and doing just one would look odd.

Will they go cloudy again?

Not for a long while. The haze is sanded and polished out and then the lens is sealed with a UV-protective coating, which is the step that stops it coming straight back.

Can cloudy headlights fail an MOT?

They can. Headlights have to be clean enough to give a proper beam pattern, so badly hazed lenses are an MOT risk as well as a night-driving one.
