What is the difference between correction and a polish?
A polish hides swirls for a few washes. Paint correction removes them, by machine, a stage at a time. It is permanent until the paint is damaged again.
Do I need correction before a ceramic coating?
Yes, if you want it to look right. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so any swirls sealed under the coating stay there for years.
